How do I turn my black thumb to green

I have the worst time with plants. I can't keep them alive. I kill cactus. 😣 I would like to try vegetables but is it worth it to only have them die?
Thanks!

with plants, the worse thing is either too little or too much water. plants in ground only need about 1 to 1 1/2 inches per week. Most people have a tendency of over water them. Be sure to use some fertilizer about 1 time a month and give them the proper amount of sunlight according to the type of plant. Think how grass grows and unless you need to water what else do Good luck Pat Ray, Denham Springs, La

Life is short, take a chance! Start with a large pot and some good garden soil, not potting soil because it's too light weight. Then plant a veggie that you love to eat, give it a little fertilizer and water and enjoy! water only when soil is dry to the touch.
