    Yes they require full sun

    Depends where you live. I live in the Phoenix area and they definitely are not here. At least not in the summer, winter, yes.

    here in Arkansas, we give them sun - but not direct in the summer afternoons!

    Geraniums like sun - mine have always done better in direct sun than shade. Did you know that you can keep potted geraniums for years? I have a friend who brings her potted geraniums in every fall and lets them sit dormant throughout the winter (she cuts the stem down). In the spring, she takes them back out to her patio and keeps them watered and they grow flowers again!

    Totally, but then need lots of water when in full summer sun.
