For ideas: go to the top of the page where the blue house outline is. Type in: fairy garden ideas. You will get many ideas.
I would like to advise you to think of your dreams for this garden. Do you like all kinds of fairies? Do you want the garden in a pot, or based on a tree or stump? Do you want to put in plants that will be growing? Do you want trolls instead of fairies? You probably already have many ideas you want to incorporate. Best wishes 😇
In my opinion one of the easiest projects in the world to do and so much fun to make. Pick your bowl and make sure it has drainage. Then I toss in a coffee filter, pea gravel just to cover the bottom of the pot, then thin layer of sand to cover gravel. Now potting medium for plants you will be using. Then arrange your plants and set them in. (I add a thin layer of sand to cover the soil to provide a good base for decor.) Now comes the fun part! Decorate as you wish with purchased and found items. Rocks, twigs, seed pods, etc. I also like using colored sand and aquarium rocks. Big Lots started carrying a line of inexpensive fairy / mini garden accessories. Google for ideas and let your imagination flow!
