What is the most energy efficient storm door?

My outside bedroom storm door on the northwest side of my house (very cold, faces the river) needs to replaced. I would like to have a window in it but need something to keep that strong wind out.

when looking for a storm door, look at the frame and make sure that it can fit onto the jamb and be screwed securely on. No rotting wood or the door will just fall off. I would also have the door face the opposite way the wind blows in the winter too! which is north west, right? so the door has less of a chance of a getting blown off. Also look for one with 2 closers. You are going to pay about $300 or more for a good door. Look on Home Depot's site because they have Anderson. Go with namebrand so that you can know that there will some sort of warranty. There are doors with full windows and removable screens or both screen and window are interchangeable. Then there are 1/2 screen where 1/2 window goes up and down. In my experience the double closer is the best way if you can do this with winds.

Renee has it correct. You need to spend at least $300, ideally more. Proper installation is just as important as the quality. I would go direct to an High quality lumber yard on this and not the big box stores. More selection and entirely different product line by the same manufacture.
