I use baking soda and water to polish off all the old residue and get the sink really clean. Then, rinse very well. You can also rub a stainless steel polish on it to make it really shine, but that will wear off as you use the water in the sink.
Use Bar tinders friend. You can purchase in grocery store. Sprinkle it on sink, use cloth to clean and follow directions on container.
You can also sprinkle baking soda on it to give it a cood cleaning and it will help it shine
Isopropyl alcohol on a clean cloth and wipe your sink down good.

Barkeeper's Friend. 😇
Not knowing how scratched your sink really is, use a quality furniture polish (not a watered down version), the scratches may remain but the sink will look cleaner and brighter. Since I heard this idea from a popular personality, I have used it ever since. Always wash/clean your sink first with water, dry with a clean cloth, spray a light coat of furniture polish on the dry sink and wipe (buff) with a different dry cloth. You will notice a difference. Do this often.
We used Cerama Bryte, like Bar Keeper's Friend, but I like it so much better.
