If you love refinishing and beautifying your furnishings and decor you are going to flip out over these beautiful bendable furniture moldings. One of my favorite hobbies is refinishing furniture and when I discovered these bendable furniture moldings by Efex, I couldn’t wait to get this project started.
Efex is the only bendable moldings and appliques available today. There are many types of moldings and appliqués but until Efex they were not bendable. This means that they must either be applied to a completely flat surface or have the gaps filled after application.
They simply flex to fit any surface they’re applied to. They can also be stretched up to 2% to ensure a tight fit. No special tools are required beyond a pair of scissors or knife and a good contact cement. Efex is also made from historic architectural designs are proudly made in the USA!
Let me show you how they work and what I created with them!
They come to you individually packaged and Efex can be applied to almost any surface such as wood, plaster, metal, glass, and terracotta.
You can use a glue like RapidFuse to easily attach them to your decor.
It’s amazing how bendable they are. You can literally stretch them up to 2% to ensure a tight fit. I especially appreciate that you don’t need special tools beyond a pair of scissors or knife and a good contact cement.
Efex can be used anywhere around the home including kitchens and bathrooms. You can also use them on furniture, walls, doors, or mirrors. Imagine creating picture frames and boxes with these gorgeous moldings? In fact, if it needs decorating this is the product for you. They can be used outside too! Perfect for your garden uses such as terracotta – of course, be sure to store them inside during extreme winter weather, or in a sheltered area.
Look at the beautiful historic detail! Every piece is designed with so much attention to detail and historical accuracy. I love the 3D effect these moldings give your furniture. They are perfect in every way!
Efex can be painted, stained, or even gilded. Just apply your favorite products to get any look your heart desires. Water-based, oil, stain, crackle, you name it! From shabby chic to elegant French – the possibilities are simply endless.
When applying the adhesive, be sure to pay attention to the edges. It’s so simple and easy – and the results are breathtaking!
After I applied them to my end table– I made sure the adhesive was dry and then began the painting and the gilding process.

After painting them, the gilding process starts. I used Gilding Wax in gold. I can’t even begin to tell you how easy it is to use. And wow, the finished results are simply stunning!
There are so many designs and styles to choose from.

I am so excited to see my beautiful end table transformed into a stunning work of art!
I wanted the bows to point upwards to create an uplifting decor element. You can choose so many ways to design everything from lamps to furniture! I can’t wait to get my next project started. The bows are Petite Bows B8.
I love how elegant the legs of my table look now. For the legs, I used Floral and Leaf Drop D8.
The side moldings are called Rose Bud Swag SW6. If you love my painted vases – be sure to check out how I created this look easily!
I’m so thrilled with the end results. I hope you were inspired to create some masterpieces of your own too!
