Gardening for the Super Bowl

Here are more details on the plants and trees that we used for the Seahawks Miniature Garden. It'll be really fun to play around with the different vignettes in a layout like this throughout the summer. Can't wait for that Cotoneaster to flower in the spring! (See a Bronco's miniature garden on the Two Green Thumbs Miniature Garden Facebook page!)
The box is 3' x 2' - we made it out of scrap wood. It's lasted for longer than expected. It's an outdoor garden.
Podocarpus hedge with Dwarf Mondo Grass in front.
A dwarf Hinoki Cypress, limbed-up to show some trunk.
A Chirimen Hinoki Cypress anchors the back corner.
A mini apple tree! It's really a Thyme-Leaf Cotoneaster. It will be covered in flowers in the springtime.
Variegated Rockcress blushes pink in the cold temperatures. Very pretty. See more up on the blog!
