How I'm Dealing With Clumpy Hard Borax and Washing Soda

If you make your own laundry soap or if you make your own household cleaners, chances are you have a box of borax or a box of washing soda in the house. But anybody who keeps a box of borax or washing soda around soon also discovers that both of those products can quickly turn hard and clumpy. Borax in particular can quickly turn hard. If you have an opened box of borax on the shelf you might go back a few months later and discover it's now a rock hard brick.
