Painting The Exterior of My 1910 Home By Myself! Part 3
by

I painted the West side in July 2012 in the middle of the Texas heat. After being covered in paint chips and dust, going through about 150 pieces of sandpaper and two sanders and untold numbers of caulk, Gatorade and buckets of sweat it was done in a month!

Mary M. Prinzavalli on Jul 24, 2015You deserve a trophy. The house looks beautiful and you did a wonderful job. Love the yellow color with white trim. Your husband should (i'm sure he does) feel very lucky because I do not know any woman that would do what you did. I might but it would take at least a year to complete. At my age i'm not even sure I could do it. I could start it then ask my husband to finish it. HaHa! I love the older homes as they have so much character. Go get a lemonade or a beer and sit on your porch and admire your work. Job well done. I found you on hometalk.com
