    build a frame the size you want and then mix your concrete and pour. Next you need to take a 12' piece of lumber and use it to strike the cement pulling it across the top of the fresh, wet concrete. This is to help get the water to float to the top. Good luck. We did it with a patio. We also greased our board frame with gasoline to make sure we could get it free from the dried concrete. Worked great.
