What is your favorite way to add definition to kitchen?

Are you asking to add definition to kitchen cabinets?? If so, add thin molding about 1 -1/2 inches from the edge of the cabinet doors. It comes in a variety of widths and designs.

I like trim! There are so many different ways to use it, making a straight frame, mtiered corners, doing an insert...much less expensive than replacing the kitchen.

There are some peal and stick faux metal back splashes that are great. Check out Home Depot or Lowes

pops of red! or your favorite foodie color (orange, yellow). My favorite, simple and useful, but like artwork are the silicon lids that are safe for microwave, oven, and stovetop:

Lighting; rope lights at the base of the cabinets or under cabinet lighting add warmth to the room.

A small ceiling fan, because it can get pretty hot even with the a/c on.
