Pitting layer on sidewalk

Is there any way to repair a sidewalk that is pitted, other than tearing it out and replacing?

    You can resurface it with a latex modified resurfacing cement.

    You can put a top layer of cement on top of it as long as you have something to level it out with to fill in all the pitted areas.

    New concrete will not adhere to old. it will float on the surface and fail.

    use a bonding agent after thorough cleaning then use a self leveling concrete or grout over that. you will have to check how thick it needs to be.

    Probably wouldn't last long with weight of vehicles and might have to be careful with strength of pressure washing.
