How do you get the smell of smoke out of the house... all the windows?

was walls and rugs curtains etc with odoban it is an odor remover and is anti bacterial. On windows use vinegar and water.
Put bowls with vinegar around the rooms for a few days.
ozone machine.
steam all walls, floors, and carpets, then repaint walls if it is that bad
Paint with kilz, and have the carpets cleaned with enzymes.
Activated charcoal absorbs odors - place in containers all over the house. Deep clean each surface with the proper cleaner for the finish. Carpets may need to go. Keep all windows open as much as possible for as long as possible.
They sell fumigating bombs for house and cars that work very well. You also will then get it out of your air ducts and systems.
i think you're going to have to wash all the curtains, the walls, any fabrics (sofa etc) ...lots of work...but that stuff just lingers! Good luck, and I'm sorry that this happened to you
