What can I do to keep bees from making nest under my doorway steps?

i tried spraying twice but they keep coming back. I am afraid they might be getting in my basement.

    Bees will often relocate to be closer to their food source and are attracted to strong, sweet smells. Cut soft, ripe pears, bananas or mangoes into chunks and place them into an open sandwich bag. Place this 15 to 20 feet away from the hive. After a few days, move the bait a few feet further away from the hive. They should go away soon.

    They have bee catchers which hold honey water, they will climb in and cant get out.

      bees are necessary for farmers and gardeners everywhere who attempt to grow our own food; if you can please refrain from trying to kill them whenever they are "inconvenient" to you, I would certainly appreciate it.
