Should I drylock my basement or trench and sump pump it?

No standing water but damp areas on the floor. We have a home built in 1934 with old poured walls and rat slab floor. dont know whether to drylock the walls or have a whole waterproofing system installed. I'm perplexed.

I would get some quotes from contractors on what they think. With the house as old as it is, someone may point something out that you didn't realize.
I would do both. The dryer the better.
Dry lock works on the inside only and will eventually give out on you because the water is still coming through your foundation.

I agree with Elizabeth. You would want to have a company do it that guarantees it's work for the lifetime of the house no matter who the owner
