Tongue and groove fit together so I am confused what you need spacers for. What do the instructions say that were packaged with the product?
I used nickels
personal preference dictates what you would use - want to see the wall behind the shiplap? smaller space. Going to fill between ? less space... see?
and I agree with Naomie... why would you use spacers with tongue and grove??
No spacers should be used between the tongue and groove. But spacers at the edges. And you can use just about anything from nickles to pieces of card board.
Coin, either dime or quarter.
No spacers are used.
Thanks to everyone who helped - I'm new to this and am finding the advice is wonderful!!
