How can we remove clover from our backyard? It continues to spread.

    Clover is high in nitrogen, so if you use a fertilizer with a high nitrogen content, it will basically overdose and die.

    If it is in your lawn next spring use weed and feed to prevent them from growing from the start.

    Also know that clover is rabbit's favorite food. If you have rabbits in the area and kill the clover, they will be looking at other plants to eat.

    honeszly, I find using a weed puller and removing it roots an all. It spreads easily and I think it's best but backbreaking to just pull it

    All I can say is good luck. Perhaps try putting dry salt on the plant when it is in the sun or use a combination of salt and vinegar solution on it. Alternatively you can try water boiled straight from the electric jug but it may take a long time to completely eradicate (if that is even possible).
