(Iapologize for the mistakes, I'm french) There is a bug , introduced in France in 2002 from Asia (I don't know about UK) wich is a real nightmare for lilies. It's called the "criocère du lis" (lis = lilies in french).

I's quite difficult to get rid off it, but it's still possible.

You can plant a wormwood close to your lilies, the criocère doesn't like the smell.

There are other ways, but I can't find a translation for them.

Maybe you'll be able to do it:

    - Find "Tanaisie", which contains a toxic substance wich will kill the criocère (by spraying an infusion of it) --> be careful

    - Find "fritillaire" : the criocère likes it. You can use it as a bait.

Voilà. I hope that can help you!
