Hibiscus transplant-Any suggestions?

I just got some hibiscus from my neighbor but I'm not sure the roots are big enough to survive a transplant. Any suggestions? For right now I just stuck them in my garden until I know the best way to treat them to a new location. I have keep an eye on them and have been watering almost every day

Are they perennial Hibiscus or tropical?
If you want them in the ground immediately, make sure the roots are spread out and in deep enough and water thoroughly. If you can pull it out of the ground, put the plant in water until the roots have grown and then repeat the first step.
It will be best to leave them and allow the roots to adjust and move them next season at the approiate time
