Meet Bernadette - Navy Blue Painted Hutch

I'm so excited about this Blue Hutch. I picked her up at an estate sale towards the end of last year and she was sitting in my garage forever! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with her... I debated white, yellow, red... and finally I settled on Navy Blue. I love this color and have been wanting to do something with it for some time now.... I'm so happy with the way she turned out. I love using bright colors to make a piece pop.
In addition to the paint, Bernadette also got new bead-board treatment in the back to replace the mirrors. I still can't find the before photos of Bernadette... but she really wasn't too bad. The woman who had her before took good care of her, but she was extremely outdated and definitely needed a facelift. This looks amazing! Well done!

I am wanting to do my in laws in the same colour. Can I ask what paint you used? I have this beautiful navy paint but I have to do about 5 layers to get that really dark blue! Thank you!
