I would contact the manufacturer to get recommendations...especially if it is mold.
Do you still have your owners manuel? If not go on line to the manufacturers website and find your model. I do not have the water or ice built into the door, as for me simply not necessary, but my friends do. They run cheap vodka through to clean out periodically.

you might have a bad gasket also, mold should not be growing in your freezer. I honestly would call for service and let them fix it, unless you think you can clean it. Remember anything you use, you will eventually drink in the way of ice or water through the door.
