The best way I have found (I have removed a lot of wall paper) is to use liquid fabric softener. I used a cheap store brand. Equal parts water and fabric softener. Apply to paper after you have scored it. Let is sit for about 15 minutes start pealing. Then just wash the solution and any glue off your walls. I found this technique on Youtube if you want to see it yourself.
I agree 100%!! This is the easiest way by far. I pour softner in large bowl or bucket and soak paper towels in the fabric softener lightly wring out and place on wallpaper patting it smooth to keep liquid in place from running down wall. Carefully remove towels and reuse them over and over. I have never used water but good idea to make softener go further. I also score the paper. You can find a scorer at WalMart (paint department) Home Depot etc. I get my softener at Dollar Tree. I do use a 4 inch metal or plastic spatula to gently scrap up the glue so I don't have so much to wash off.
The Handyman idea below is awful!! Lol! Lots of unnecessary work and you will be hating yourself before you even get started good. I did it that way once and swore never again then I saw the fabric softener idea and it was a piece of cake!
