Rockeries adorned with weather resistant ground cover, succulants, cactus, path ways leading to a lovely feature (water-feature; pond; nooks with seating, patches of lawn, climate permitting. rustic feature walls. 3 feature trees (odd no. is balance. 3, 5, 7) as such. Have rockeries in full sun. shade happy bushes & plants under dappled shade of trees. Does this give u food for thought at all? You could also make an arbour or gazebo. Outdoor furniture & chiminea. Make your own roasts & pizzas? Yum. 😉😀😅

For a lot that size, which will become a huge investment of time and money, I would go to a local nursery or plant store and ask them for advice. Their stock will be items guaranteed to grow in your region with less water. You can also call your County Agent for this type of information,

Salvias and sages are both very drought tolerant. Gravillias are also great. Aloe and other succulents need almost no water.
