How paint a checker board pattern?

I want to paint a checker board pattern. What is the easiest way to do it? Would love to see a video as I am more a visual learner but detailed instuctions with pictures would work tool

Appreciate any help.

    It is a 'snap'! If it is a large space, use a chalk line. Mark off your sides by ruler space amount, two people hold ends and snap.

    I painted pavers all white, (prime first) then each other paver light purple.

    I made a checkerboard wall for my 2 kids when they were babies. I used primary colors and only did some of the squares in color, leaving most of the wall white so it wasn't overwhelming. I used peel and stick contact paper that I cut into perfect squares using a metal square.


    Smaller areas can be done by using painters tape. Do 1 color at a time and remove the tape as instructed by the manufacturer. Let the color dry completely before moving on to tape the 2nd color.
