Summer breaks are some of my best memories of being a child. We spent most of the daylight hours outside building and bonding. Now that I'm a grownup I want to create some great memories for my grandkids. This super easy portable sand box project is one for them.
You don't need to be experienced to make this fast and easy sand box. As a matter of fact this one was built by a couple of kids! I supplied the three items needed and they put it together.
It takes less than fifteen minutes to put together this portable sand box and it can be relocated super easily. The portable sand box is a great idea for apartment dwellers as well as home owners that don't want a permanent structure that will leave a scar in the yard. I moved it to a shadier spot on the porch, no problem at all.
We made it easier to play in the sand box by elevating it on blocks. By the way, if you use a container with a lock on lid you not only lock out bugs and cats but you get a bonus play table. Get the details on the blog.
