“Growing” Flower Magnets to Embellish a Watering Can

Summer is in bloom around The Potting Shed! Since you can never have too many flowers, I *grew* some flowers to embellish a watering can to add a bit of whimsy and to dress up the green painted finish.
I had some small metal flowers leftover from my Repurposed Door Knob Hose Guards project. The metal flowers were originally attached to a piece of metal wall art. I removed the metal flowers with wire snips.
Here is the watering can "before" with its painted green shabby finish ready for a few blooms.
I used Liquid Nails silicone adhesive to glue the magnets to the back of the flowers. You can use any silicone adhesive, like Liquid Nails or E6000, available at the craft or hardware store. Allow the adhesive to dry according to the manufacturer's directions. I found the magnets at Michaels. The package of 50 magnets was $8, less 40% off using their weekly coupon.
Here is the watering can with the addition of the flower magnets, a fun addition that adds a bit of whimsy to the garden and dresses up the shabby green finish.
The price of each of the individual flowers came to around $3 a piece and each of the magnets was around 10 cents, so for under $10 this watering can got a blooming makeover. I'm looking for some more flowers to "grow" to add to an iron gate in the garden!
I cut some hydrangeas to fill the watering can for some additional blooms.
