Not so much, they may be getting too much water or they don't have good drainage. Also, how old is the soil they're in? If it's been a while you might add some new cactus soil and even some sand to mix in it to enhance the drainage. The new leaves should be bright green.

How long has it been since you re-potted it?

If it's getting too big to re-pot in it's entirety, you can just re-pot a piece of the original plant. Or pot your clippings. They should start looking more perky in a matter of days.

Hello Leader; No, it is not normal. The leaves should be a bright lush green.

if your plant were mine, I would trim it and would repot it.

I hope that this helps you!! Take Care!
