It looks like one already has been used as a chalkboard- using chalkboard paint trays can be used as message centers and it's easy following product directions. You could also cover sections of foam core board with fabric of your choice, affix to the tray with adhesive, and use those for photos, notes, etc. Plenty to keep you busy, and great gifts!!

You can turn them into decorative chalkboard frames. Absolutely fun to do and such a gorgeous home decor. I have a tutorial on how to do it http://www.fancymomma.com/upcycled-food-tray-chalkboard-home-decor

spray paint them any color you want and hang them on a wall to use as a magnet station. use magnets to hold photos or notes, business cards etc.

Hello Lil; Please go to Google and type in "Repurposing old metal trays" You will get plenty of hits and so many ideas!!!

If your trays were mine, I would turn one into a Chalkboard.

The large white tray, I would repaint, and I would place a new picture on it.

I would then clear coat it and would use it for drinks.

I hope that this helps you with your Lovely trays! have fun Crafting!!!

I have a collection of old trays in different sizes, shapes and conditions. They are mounted on a brick wall of my back patio and I think they're really pretty. I use LocTite or 3M Mounting Putty from Walmart -- make a "wad" of it and put on the back of the tray, then stick on wall and press down firmly over the putty to spread it into the nooks and crannies. You could also do this on an interior wall, but be careful -- the putty can sometimes pull off paint if removed from the wall. You might do a trial first or try foam poster hangers or perhaps a Command hook or something along those lines.

Paint and stencil or use chalk paint and gift them during holidays.

How about bird feeders? You can place them glued/screwed to a base or drill holes and stager a few😀 Ive also seen whe you hang silverware and make a wind chime out a kitchen window😉

Decorate with cat or dog motif and use for pet's water bowl and food dish. No more spills or stains on your floor! You can hot glue some legs on it to raise them up a bit too for big dogs. Paint one with paint and hang it in the kitchen for note. Get a bag of round magnets and hot glue silk flowers on them to brighten up. Actually you can make just about anything using round magnets hot glued onto, stones, tiny picture frames, etc. Use chalk paint on one and place on an easel to say Welcome Home! Or put a quote of the day on there, or even that night's dinner menu! Have fun!

I have one very similar to your flowered one in the first picture! LOL! My mom used to deliver food to me on it when I was sick so I do the same when my kids need food in bed. I am careful though with food not being directly on the tray since idk if there are any lead issues. They could be worth something. I know mine is definitely an antique ! LOL!
