My peonies are falling over, want to know if anyone knows how to make a moss pole or has another idea on how I could keep them up? Thank you.

You can buy supports for them at the garden store. They are round metal hoops with attached legs that poke into the ground. I put mine on early. It's a lot easier then. Later on, you might need 2 people.

Buy the wire stacks made to support tall flowers. They aren't expensive and can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's.

You can stake up with dow rods and zip ties.

You can use a basket almost like a tomato basket if they're small and haven't grown too tall, or use a box with bamboo posts and ties. Here's a link to watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_teMFUHGWis

put supports around it in early spring and then make sure that the branches grow up I side the support ring.

Use a tomato cage until all foliage dies out then remove and mow with the grass

My peonies are too large in diameter for any of the tomato cages sold at nurserys. The stems get very tall as well and fold over.

Thank you everyone. I staked them, but this year they really outgrew the stakes and the flower stems were so long they kept falling over. Next year I will use taller and wider cages. I am thinking of making cages out of wire fencing. Hopefully, that will hold them together better than ties.

    I appreciate everyone's ideas!
