Another picture with the lights on, all I see is TV. What colors are the stones in the fireplace?
A few ideas might be to panel the wall with wood, even use pallet wood, and pickle it to pick up the colors in the stone fireplace. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/149392912615990686/ Olympic deck stains have some great new colors
You could so a wall texture either to pick up the color and texture of the grout, or tint it for a dramatic look. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/168673948515948026/
You could metallic paint it like a burnished copper, https://www.pinterest.com/pin/144326363033849491/
Cedar Shake shingles. Incredible looking and not often seen. WEAR GLOVES to install, or spend your lifetime picking minute slivers out of your hands.
Picture is a bit dark and I cannot make out the room. How about a picture on wood that can be separated (like a barn door) so picture is on each side of tv and then when closed, you have w rustic picture (like an old barn or something you like) Or get two old window (rustic) and put mirrors in. Or even a barn door look cabinet for the ultimate rustic look. Have them either slide out of the way like barn doors or open like a cabinet and when closed Viola! no tv.
Hello Dawn, I recommend using large decor items around that large TV. Maybe a gate with the word "Family" stenciled on it. Several large frames with family pictures would be nice. Maybe a large shadow box painted with some of the same colors you already have in the room. Hope some of these ideas help you.
Have you thought of building a large frame, sort of like a large shadow box with doors to hide your tv and you could decorate the doors.
The multi wood would really make that area brighten. Good luck
Wow! That's very rustic! Love the ideas! The lamp and the pulley are perfect additions!
thsnks Debra!
Can you mount your TV to the wall? Maybe frame it with some nice molding so it looks like a giant painting. Or create the "look" of an entertainment center by adding bookcases to either side and a piece of wood across the top.
