I have a grape cherry tomato producing but the fruit is bitter. Why?

This is a tomato that some creature planted in my front yard, so it's a wild tomato. It's fun, but the fruit is slightly bitter and I'd like to know if there's anything I can do to improve the flavor of the harvest. Thanks.

I always plant basil with my tomatoes and it gives them a wonderfully sweet flavor every time!

Feed it with sugar water
Very often "victory" plants (those not planted by the human hand) do not carry all of the parent's hybrid traits and, in this instance, it may be the sweetness of the fruit. Landsharkinn's suggestion is also a very valid one.
I agree with PJWise123, mainly plants are hybrids that do not produce the fruit the original plant does. Mostly heirloom types will reproduce accurately from year to year by seeds.
