What can you paint on a wood table, that is already painted, to further protect it outside? I want to put it in my screen porch, so it will be mostly protected.

use a compatible exterior paint (oil on oil, etc) in a semigloss. Or you can sand lightly and coat with Spar urethane.

I like marine grade epoxy, be sure to get non-yellowing.

Hello Linda; please visit Ace Hardware.

They have a wonderful heavy duty clear coat for outdoor furniture.

I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!

A couple coats of Varathane will serve you best. If it protects a boat in ocean water, your porch will be no challenge. I did an old trestle table that still looks like I did it yesterday.A couple coats of Varathane will serve you best. If it protects a boat in ocean water, your porch will be no challenge.
