Sorry I didn't explain fully what I am trying to do. I need to build a small roof over my back door, outside, so I can open the door when it's raining, and not get water inside. Thanks for any assistance
If you have a window in the back door, you can use suspension rods at the top and bottom of the window, inside the frame or with small brackets on the outside. You can use sheers cut to fit, including hems, or other fabrics. If you post a pic or give more details, you may get better answers.
