How do I replace my sump pump?

My old sump pump stopped working how can I replace it? There is water in the hole. It's subme under the water.

Best way to do this is to empty out your sump pit first. Then you can see if you need to clean out the bottom. They can get pretty dirty and that sludge can plug up your new pump. Then, buy a suitable replacement and follow the directions to install it. Be sure it is also a submersible pump. Good luck!
