    • Janus is correct, plus I do not think it likes that corner. Move it to another location. If you want another plant in that location, get or make a plant stand and put a Peace Lily there, they do well in low light corners.

I would check a few things. Are you moving it to find the "right" spot for it? Does it have drainage? Did you plant it in a grow/nursery pot, then put it in the pretty pot? Ficus can be finicky, they don't like to be moved, they don't like soggy roots, and if they're in a warm area can drink a lot. They will drop leaves if they aren't happy. One other thing you might check is for spider mites. They are a very small pest, I use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray directly on the branches/leaves. If you have spider mites you will see little webs. The soapy water and wiping with paper towels will help to get rid of them. Good luck!

Ficus plants don't like draughts. Keep away from doors or open windows.

Geesh..the weeping fig is the only house plant that doesn't keel over dead after I bring it home. It's not very fussy about most things, but it doesn't like drafts or drying out or living in a swamp. That whole side of bare branches does resemble roots strangling itself, though..

I have had mine for about 10 years and it is fussy about light. This is also a plant that will let you know when it is mad haha. I keep mine in a brightly lit room but not in direct sunlight. I only water mine once a week and keep it outdoors in the summer. It's on my porch that get morning, early afternoon sun but gets shade the rest of the day. Good luck!

Ficus trees are very fickle make sure it can drain well trim up those sticks that are poking out of it. in direct sunlight has always worked best for me. I've had my ficus tree for 12 years now. Don't be afraid to give her a little love and talk to her.

My ficus was dropping leaves too. I read that it was probably because it was in front of an open window. I repotted it and moved it away from the window it has stopped dropping.

these trees do not like to be moved at all, plus make sure you cut all the dead off so it doesnt take the energy from the live part
