If you are willing to unpick all the seams, you can reuse the fabric for any new garment where the components will fit in the pieces.

Go to your local fabric store and look at pattern books to see what you'd like to make. Then go through all of your clothes to find fabrics that would work. Then take the item apart and lay the fabric out according to the pattern and make a new garment. Something else you can do is combine the different clothing pieces and fabrics to make something really unique - like putting print sleeves on a solid shirt or vice versa. Sounds like fun!!!

Anything your heart desires. I cut off dresses that I didn't wear. Now I have a bunch of new tops. Full skirts can be turned into floaty pants. Cut off pants to make capris.

My Daughter made her wedding dress in this way. I believe she made the top to her dress from a sheet but can't remember exactly. At the time I owned an antique shop and I had wedding clothes from 1914. My daughter wore the petticoat and the bloomers from that outfit as her skirt! You could make some adorable outfits this way, a collar from one blouse, sleeves from another, the body from a third. However in all honesty it would probably cost more to buy the separate pieces than to buy a whole dress, blouse, pants etc. from Goodwill or such. But you would have an original creation and something unique to you.

Quilt tops. My grandmother made one from her children's clothing. It was beautiful. Tee shirts also make wonderful quilts.

I cut old t-shirts into lengths, braided them and stitched together to make a small rug.

When we were kids we helped my grandmother tear them into strips and sew them together and we took them to a lady that wove them into rag rugs. You can actually crochet them into rugs. I've seen some cute ideas lately with pockets from old jeans made into organizers. We have a lady that makes purses out of the top part of slack and jeans. She took one pair and sewed up one leg and left the other open and used it for a plastic sack dispenser.

If you Google "upcycling clothing" you will see so many places to get ideas on what to do with old clothes. I would describe some here, but that is the best source for this and you should check out all of the choices!
