if it currently has a fabric top, I wouldn't recommend replacing it with tin. If you actually read the owners manual on the fabric top type you are supposed to remove the fabric when there is a storm with any wind. If you don't, as we found out, the wind catches on the top and eventually the entire structure (the metal posts and entire metal roof framing) will be knocked over by the wind because the roof acts as a sale. Ours was secured to the ground and the whole thing was blown over. If you change it to a tin roof you will have even more of this issue and obviously it wouldn't be easily removable.
