How to dry non eatable mushrooms for decoration?

I have very small mushrooms growing in my yard by a old tree that was cut down, They are non eatable, I read that mushrooms can be dried but not sure if these would come out the same as eatable ones, I would love to use them in fairy gardens, (thats how little they are, does anyone have any idea how to dry them and keep there shape?
