My neighbor gave me some seeds from her bush she said was a yellow bell? It is a fast grower, and I planted the seeds 2-3 weeks ago. I life in Southern Calif. How long would it take these to germinate? Thanks

They should have germinated by now. Is "yellow bell flower bush" the actual name of the plant?

  Yes Naomie, these are the ones. She said they thorns made it hard for her to just give me a cutting and said they wouldn't grow from cuttings and did give me the seeds. I noticed that the seeds I planted there are one at least maybe two little green leaves coming up. Also They cut the heck
  out of hers just a month ago as she said it is taking over her planter and she eventually wants to get rid of it. Less than 2 mths later it is back up
  to its almost 8ft and blooming like crazy, and so doesn't look like when
  you cut it back matters. Thanks for the link. I always google, and don't know why I got lazy and didn't do it this time. Appreciate your help.

I googled Yellow Bell Bush Flower and it showed two different kinds. I think you should do the same and look at the pictures to determine which one you have and then study up on it.

  Thanks alot, I usually google everything, don't ask me why I didn't do this one. LOL I'll do that now. I wondered about the name when she gave it to me. I have seen them at Home Depot tho.
