What is the easiest way to trim out my stairway?
My stairway that goes to my second story, has never been trimmed out or had any kind of molding. I live alone and help is hard to get because of my work hours. Is there a way I could do this myself without buying a ton of tools? I do own a miter saw, hammers, the standard tools.

I've always felt the easiest and most forgiving trim is painted 1/4 round. Just use your miter saw for your angles and if you have a gap, fill in with painters caulk and then paint. I have always cut 45° angles to make square joints.
