Old paneling looks great painted...I have not.ally seen white, but other colors as well. Gives it a texture and adds interest to the warehouse...like vertical shiplap. Just make sure you give it a light sanding before painting so Paint adheres.
Hello Drlmiller; You can paint over old paneling, and I have seen someone add wallpaper once, also!!!
Please visit your local Ace Hardware or Home Depot as they will have what you need.
Also, Please go to Google. Type in: "Redoing wood paneling in my home" You will get several hits, and plenty of ideas.
