Are you asking how to create different textures on your wall? There are paintable wallpapers that have different textures to choose from. You can also buy sand to mix into paint and create a bumpy texture fairly easily. There are also different things you can use with wall mud to create texture such as blowing it on your wall with a hopper and then lightly running over it with a plaster knife for a "knock down" texture.

    I hope that helps

Keep the texture simple. Did you ever join the straw texture fad? Well, straw rots and attracts insects, even if it is covered in layers of paint. Laughing over that one? Well, do you remember when popcorn ceilings were so popular? They were supposed to be a form of soundproofing so noises in your house were not so loud. Today , you won't find many fans of popcorn ceilings. Best wishes 😇

Thank you. I guess i should have mentioned what was going on. I though i waa searchingly through previous questions. I have a bathroom that someone hung the drywall up backwards. ( brown side out). I only realized this when i tried to paint it and the whole thing bubbled and peeled right off. Needless to say i need texture or something to cover my imperfections.

    • WHAT???? Call the guy back and have him make it right! Or take him to small claims court to get your money back and hire someone to do for you properly and make a claim against his or her insurance carrier. Unacceptable in my book. If that is not possible for some reason, i would put up paintable wallpaper, then paint that.
