My observation about gardening....

Not a question but an observation about the gardening/lawn/plants/trees section of these posts. I find it so interesting how different our problems with these questions are depending on what part of the country we live in. I am really enjoying reading them and understanding each writers different perspective and problems.

I agree! I feel like I am getting so educated in everything just from reading peoples questions and then other's responses/answers.

I always worry that what I post will clash with someone else's comment. But you have a very good point, we are all probably in different areas and what works for me in Nebraska is probably not the answer for someone in a hotter or wetter area

We previously lived in Illinois and have moved to Tennessee. What a difference in soil and planting time. I have enjoyed seeing the posts from different areas and especially those that relate to my new area

Sometimes its easy to forget that even just a state away conditions are different and plants will need different care than where you are.

I completely agree with you. Due to job transfers over the years, I have lived in 7 different states and am amazed by how different each climate, region, soil, etc affected the gardening in each state.

Oh, one of my sisters loves Myrtle Beach, she spends winters there but in a rental so no gardening. Here in Maine we have pretty rocky soil! Lots of ledge!
