Create A Coastal Starfish Wreath for Under $8!

As soon as the warm weather rolls around, I want to update my home decor with beach or coastal decor. To keep costs down I always look for quick and easy DIY projects. This coastal starfish wreath is one such project. Here is what I started with
A wire wreath form from the dollar store, clearance white canvas ribbon, sea foam burlap ribbon (use a coupon), floral wire and starfish.
Start by tying one end of the white canvas to the inside ring and continue to wrap the canvas over and under each ring until the wreath form is completely covered. Next, wrap the sea foam burlap ribbon around the wreath leaving plenty of the white canvas showing.
Finally, use hot glue to attach 3 large starfish (found at the craft store) to the side of the wreath. This really came together quickly-definitely under 30 minutes, but I love the soft blue and white color scheme. You can also add sea shells if you want, but I chose to keep it simple with just the starfish.
