What type of paint is best for repainting kitchen cabinets?

High gloss, the better gloss, the better finish. I would first clean the cabinets with Murphy's Oil Soap let dry completely. If you can take the doors off, that's even better, paint them on a flat surface. The hardware can either be painted or purchase new hardware. Some knobs or hinges don',t cost that much. My husband did all the work, my cabinets were that ugly . The best thing, is you can clean them with a rag and soap n water. My cabinets are now white, with light gold hardware, and it brightens my kitchen up, and makes it look new. Hope this helps Good Luck!
