What are you using the slabs for? What is the colors and theme of the reception? What style of cake and Centerpieces are being used.

My granddaughter used 1" thick circles of logs my husband cut for her. They were about 12" in diameter, and had the bark on. She used them as centerpieces, topping them with candles in cylindrical vases into which she placed stones, pine cones, and twigs. Very rustic. She also made small wood circles for numbering the tables. She wanted to burn the numbers in, but tried several ways with no success. She ended up using a brown sharpie! So cute!
