what is currently there? Any gardens, trees, shrubs? Are you just looking to tidy it up or were you wanting to revamp with low maintenance plants and patio ideas?

  There is really nothing there I let it go for a few years it's bare dirt spots coupled with wild grass and weeds , looking to revamp looking to eliminate soil a erosion

In my opinion it's a LOT easier to mow grass than weed flower beds. I would scuff it up and plant grass.
