Create Your Own Modern Art
Some people call it modern art. Some people call it home decor. I call it art, and I found a great way to create some using left over house paint. To read more about it go here: http://the2seasons.com/2014/02/04/how-to-create-your-own-modern-art/
This colorful art is on a 16 x 24 canvas and is the result of house paint being poured in random patterns on a drop cloth.
The first step is to put a few layers of plastic drop cloth on an even surface. I used our basement floor.
Then I taped off an area the exact size of the canvas I would use.
Then I poured left over paint randomly on the drop cloth.
When I used all of the colors that I wanted, I gently placed the canvas on top of the paint and pressed the whole surface down. Then I pulled it up and let it dry on a flat surface for a few days.
I made a second smaller "painting" with the left over paints that were still on the drop cloth after I completed the first master piece.
