The other day, was my washing day.... so as usual, I was stripping the bed. To my surprise, there was a spyder at the foot of the sheets. What would you do?, after the jump, scream, and say "GOOD MORNING, GET OUT OF HERE"!!!? Please give me some help, thank you so much, Judy.

Use a fogger or spray for bugs.

I make a homemade solution of plain water and lemongrass oil and spray it all around the doors and windows of my house 2-3 times a year. It helps keep spiders away completely. We have woods behind our house, and without this spray, we would probably be invaded every year.

I have never had a problem with staining. I mix about 1 gallon of plain water in a garden sprayer with about 1 Tbs of Pure lemongrass essential oil. I literally spray it directly onto the door frames, window frames, entry areas, etc. I use a standard garden pump type sprayer set on a medium mist setting....not a straight jet of spray. I have been doing this for years and have had no problems on vinyl siding, brick, or cedar siding.

OK, under all furniture, or just under bed? They could be anywhere, coming in for cooler areas. It is very hot here, 105-107 temp so this is horrid. Thank you for your help, J.

We live in a forest and get infrequent spiders. None are poisonous. I send them down the toilet wrapped in tissue when they invade the house. But, of course, they eat mosquitos, so I am not absolutely opposed to them.

Spiders are good creatures. There are only two or three in the whole world that can hurt you and spiders don't like biting people. Look for a bug vacuum online that has different speeds. You don't want to kill the bug. Just vacuum it up with a medium or low speed and then put it out in your yard. Thank you.

Oh, Olive, good for you! Spiders are absolutely fascinating insects (arachnids) and do so much good for us. If it is possible to catch a spider in the wrong place at the wrong time, do so as gently as possible and send her outside.
