Cool way to recycle old belts?

Just purchased this small vanity seat at an estate sale. Want to use old belts or leather for seat . Any cool ideas?
Hello Rdavenport; Originally this Vanity bench had a stuffed pillow.
Belts, or old leather would look nice. You could even purchase some Fabric that matches your color scheme.
If I were making a seat for this bench, I would use Men's ties.

perhaps you could weave the leather through the bars that are already there but I think you should then add a thin cushion; it will feel nicer to sit upon.

My thought is that it would look much better to have a cushion like it originally did.
